Thomas is responsible for commercial energy management activities for DuPont’s US assets. Such activities include regulatory management and intervention, risk/contract management for the deregulated supply of energy commodities, overall utility management, renewable energy sourcing, commercial relationship management with 3rd party steam providers/cogen plant management and leads a 3rd party solution for energy data management. Thomas’ education includes degrees in Mechanical Technology, Liberal Studies, Business Administration as well as an MBA. Thomas’ background includes cogeneration operations and maintenance leadership and high-level sourcing in all categories related to large industrial operations. Thomas is also very much engaged in tracking macroeconomic data and is a long-time member of the BOD of ISM, DE. Outside of work, Thomas and wife Carol enjoy physical fitness and golf while taking residence in Newark, DE.
